The Lancaster Parade was a success. Thanks to all who came out and helped and a big "thank you" goes out to Kyle and Kyle Ranches. It truly was a team effort!

Instructions for the Christmas Parades -

Lancaster – Saturday, December 5 – “Candy Canes & Country Lanes”

We are #114 in the line up and we are going to meet at 8:00am to line up and decorate the vehicles along 10th St. West (between Lancaster Blvd and Ave. I). Judging is at 9am!!

The parade starts at 10am!

Palmdale – Saturday, December 12 – “Hometown Heroe’s” (Patriotic/Christmas music)

House Health Bill: 1,990 pages via Politico

The House health care bill unveiled Thursday clocks in at 1,990 pages and about 400,000 words. With an estimated 10-year cost of $894 billion, that comes out to about $2.24 million per word. .

Barack Obama sees worst poll rating drop in 50 years

The decline in Barack Obama's popularity since July has been the steepest of any president at the same stage of his first term for more than 50 years.

Jeffrey Jones of Gallup explained: "The dominant political focus for Obama in the third quarter was the push for health care reform, including his nationally televised address to Congress in early September.

Right Direction or Wrong Track

34% Say U.S. Is Heading In Right Direction

For the second straight week, 34% of voters say the United States is heading in the right direction, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

The majority of voters (61%) continue to believe the nation is heading down the wrong track, up slightly from last week.

Finance Committee Democrat Won’t Read Text of Health Bill

Sen. Thomas Carper (D.-Del.), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, told CNSNews.com that he does not “expect” to read the actual legislative language of the committee’s health care bill because it is “confusing” and that anyone who claims they are going to read it and understand it is fooling people.
